BYC hosts the Pakenham Predicted Log Race each year, usually in September. We also support other Log Races throughout the region. For more information, contact James Nelson.

Fall 2011 Pakenham Results

Race held September 17, 2011 starting at Seafood products (Vancouver Harbour) preceded up Indian Arm to Raccoon Island and returning to Lynne Terminal.

Perfect weather, and minimal currants, the results are as follows:

  • 1st Jim Nicholson - Haven II error 2.354 % (BYC)
  • 2nd Colin Dunwoody - Snafu error 2.4432% (BYC) Leg 5 of the race 0 seconds of error
  • 3rd Graham Swindell - Cassandra - error 3.2939% (AYC)
  • 4th Bob Gautschi -Sirena - error 3.579 % (AYC) Leg 6 of the race 0 seconds of error
  • 5th Zale Martell - Zz Xscape - error 4.0763 (BYC)
